Sennheiser CX-120BT Review: Can I Buy this product ?

Here in this post, we will be reviewing one such product from Sennheiser which has a 4.3 rating from  75,031  plus people on Amazon.in.  The product is Sennheiser CX-120BT Bluetooth/Wireless earphones.

Now we are generally found of Sennheiser audio product’s and their sound quality. I was quite excited to learn about the launch of their budget wireless earphones, these earphone are Sennheiser CX-120BT. I did notice that the company had cut some corners in order to keep the price down, but support for Qualcomm’s aptX codecs was a welcome addition in this segment. And the two-year additional company manufacture warranty.

Technical Features:-

Build Quality / Comfortable

The Sennheiser CX-120BT looks a little unusual when compared to most wireless other Brands neckband earphone on the market. You have an earbud and the battery module at one end and the second earbud and the control pad at the other end. Both Earpods are connected by a very thin cable. That is goes around the back of your neck. The cable is also thin that it barely qualifies as a neckband. A thin cable connects the two earbuds that go around the back of your neck. As a result it is called neckband though it doesn’t look like one you also have a slider to adjust fit, but we felt if one uses them while jogging or running the buds tend to pop out.

Now if we are discussing about looks of Sennheiser CX-120BT, the CX120BT doesn’t look amazing. It gives the impression that one is wearing dangling earring, but at the same time, it is exceptionally lightweight. And the earbuds are also comfortable to use for long duration and better than the buds of cheap and best look a like Airpods the black body with a hint of read and silver in the Sennheiser logo does add class. The left and right marking for the buds could have more conspicuous though. The neckband  is extremely lightweight at just 14 grams and you hardly fell it around the neck, even lighter than few TWS earbuds. It doesn’t cause any discomfort in the ear either.

How to Control

In the Box we are get three different sizes Silicone ear-tips to choose from the medium sized pair worked best for me. And we are also get two thick modules where one looks to be the battery pack and other features control buttons and mic. The center button is a MFB(Multi Function Button) to turn ON/OFF and long press or hold it’s works voice Assistant while the other two are volume rockers that can also be used to control tracks. There is also a tiny LED notification light and micro-USB port for charging. The inline control module will be on the left side .When you are using the earphone you can easily locate it and use patterns without any trouble. It is also easy to identify each button separately.

Battery Quality

The Sennheisr CX-120BT earphone is also compatible with smart phones voice assistant. So you have access to Google Assistant or Siri, to get directions play music and communicate with contacts with a simple press of button.

I think the company has used some relatively older tech for a wireless neckband launched to wards the end 2020 such as Bluetooth 4.1 and a USB charging port, when several brands have been using Bluetooth 5.0 and type-c  USB charging port for over a year now. While it’s possible to overlook these, an advertised battery life of 6 hours is too low for this day and era. When wireless neckbands have been pushing past upto 16-20 hours Battery life. All over battery life is not good but the Sound quality and looking is so pretty and Awesome.

This is also Bring the low latency and better audio quality, although latency is nor that mange the you can use it  for Gaming and watching actions movies.
